  1. Hi Dana, I really enjoy your podcast so thank you for the content. I enjoyed episode 19 but was a little disappointed when I went onto Christina’s social media and saw her pictures. I came away from the podcast thinking that she really was qualified to give advice on nutrition and the struggle to achieve a healthy body weight. I appreciated her comments how she also struggled with family members now calling her chubby when in actuality she was just trying to get healthy. But looking at her photos, she still appears to be underweight to me and the complaining about her belly fat seems a little hollow to me now. Thanks for listening.

    1. Hi Karen, thank you! It’s important to remember that we shouldn’t immediately judge someone’s bodyweight as a qualification to give advice on nutrition and struggling to achieve a healthy body weight. She may still have a small frame, but Christina did explain in the podcast that she gained 50 lbs since her struggle with ED. For her family members, that may have seemed chubby for her, even if it looks smaller frame or underweight compared to someone else struggling with disordered eating. I don’t think she was complaining that she had a lot of belly fat, but it may be considerably more than she used to have – again, it’s all relative differences. I really appreciate your input and thank you for sharing your thoughts!
