Magdalena Wszelaki was inspired to change careers to the health and wellness field after conventional medicine failed her and she forged her own path to wellness, starting with her diagnosis of Hashimoto’s Thyroiditis in 2008. Magdalena’s journey with hormone imbalance began with a diagnosis of Graves’ Disease, Hashimoto’s and Adrenal Fatigue – Stage 2. It returned 10 years later when doctors diagnosed her with Estrogen Dominance and a dangerously high level of heavy metal toxicity. Fed up with doctors who wrote her conditions off with a laundry list of pharmaceuticals, Magdalena left her career in advertising to focus full-time on understanding her body, her relationship to food, and cracking the code on nutrition’s connection to hormonal balance.
In her book, Cooking for Hormone Balance, Magdalena helps women connect-the-dots between food and hormones and provides scientifically-backed information and custom dietary programs.
