Who else is LOVING fall right now!? It’s my favorite season. The leaves are changing, the temperature is finally getting a little colder so we can all break out our jeans, boots, flannel and pumpkin spice lattes squash! And go apple picking. And carve pumpkins. And play in leaf piles. And all of the fall things. Can you tell I’m in total fall mode?
So it’s that time again. Food Coma Fridays: everythingIloveaboutfall edition.
Let me tell you something else exciting that’s going on around here. I FINALLY GOT A PUPPY!!! Took me freaking long enough, right? I’ve been bugging my family (and you guys) about it hardcore for almost a year now…and they finally caved admitted that they wanted one too. Or rather that they wouldn’t send me back with it if I brought one home. So then this happened.
ISN’T SHE JUST THE CUTEST?! Little Bella, my new Brittany Spaniel puppy. She’s the best. When she’s not chewing through everything, haha. I mean, she’s a puppy – what do you expect? Cuteness overload. Maybe I’ll try making my own dog treats soon? Maybe. But what you can expect is me to be sending lots of puppy pictures your way. So get excited. Also, we are totally twins because a) she is a redhead like me and b) we both have the attention span of Dory from finding nemo.
Now, about all those amazing fall things. Specifically, food.

Other Random Fall Things
Apple picking! I did this last year with my best friend, and we decided to go back to the same orchard this year. We didn’t get 40 lbs this time, but still made a hellava lot of my famous apple pie spiced applesauce. And these Apple Cinnamon Muffins. And ate apples and almond butter. It’s just too good.
Stila 10-in-1 BB cream. ok, so this isn’t something I’m necessarily loving right now. More like totally riding the struggle bus with. I used this stuff all summer (when I was super tan and outside all day) and now it’s waaaay too tan for me as I’ve slowly become more pale translucent during the fall. By December I’ll be full-on ghostly white status. “Fit for all skin types” my a$$. I’m really not feeling like rocking the the oompa loompa look on the reg. Can somebody help a pale, irish white girl out!?
Jason Natural Cosmetics Pure Beauty Vitamin E Oil. While I’m on the ranting and raving topic, I just found out this stuff, which I LOVE for helping with sunburns and keeping my skin oh-so-nice-and-smooth has “vital wheat gluten” in it. Woof. Thank you, celiac disease, for reminding me to be humble throw away almost all my skincare products. woof.
What are some of your favorite things this fall?
Thanks for the link up! 🙂 Your dog is adorable! Brittanies are the best! Ours will be three in December 🙂
Of course! And aw, thank you! She’s a handful, but totally worth it. And happy early birthday to your pup!
