Oh maaaaaan it has been a hot second (or six months?) since I’ve done one of these posts. Or, really, a cold winter. Because it definitely has NOT been hot since the last time I did one of these (back in october)! For those of you that are new around here, food coma fridays is a really fun series I do every once in a while. You know, a roundup of recipes that are so good, you’d be in a food coma if you made and ate all of them. Can somebody please make these for me ASAP? Kthanks. Oh, plus some articles and stuff I’m loving lately. Updates on my life and the like. Because I know you guys are DYING to know.
So, what’s been going on? Well, I’m traveling a sh*t-ton this month. Yes, sh*t-ton is a unit of measurement. Fact. It means a LOT. Not really sure where that expression comes from, but you get the point. I’m there and back to North Carolina a few times for a graduation and a wedding, and out to Salt Lake City for a conference this weekend. It’s also my puppy’s first birthday this week! Honestly, she hasn’t gotten much bigger. But definitely crazier. I’ve been doing some group talks and writing articles about sports nutrition for my club swim team (which I also coach), which is super cool and something I’ve wanted to get into for a while now! And summer is coming!! Finally. I’m excited to swim coach outside again and get my tan (burn) on. Bring on the freckles. And I’ve been working with Whole Foods to bring you guys new recipes each week to showcase their Taste of Whole Foods Market campaign this May. How cool is that?!!

The Harry Potter books. well, DUH. I’ve always loved those. But I started re-reading them and it’s taken me about…a month to read the first six. Can you guess what I’ve been doing in my travel time?
Audible. Mostly to listen to said Harry Potter books when I’m driving places or doing things when I should have my eyes on the wheel/stove/puppy. Plus, you get a free 30 day membership and one free audiobook to try it out. So ooobviously I’ve been using that while traveling too!
Fake Up (hydrating concealer stick). Let’s be real, when you travel a lot, you miss out on sleep. This stuff is freaking awesome for hiding those dark circles creeping up under my eyes. #thestruggleisreal
