Yaaaay October!! I love this month. But HELLO, can we savor it for what it’s worth? I went to costco yesterday and they already had wrapping paper, bows, the works out for Christmas already. But they also had copies of Meals Made Simple and Seriously Delish.  So I bought them and wasn’t as mad. How could you be, when you’re drooling over the recipes in there?? Here’s some other mind-blowingly delicious stuff I’ve been oogling over this week.

But first…because I’ll never turn down a chance to throw a Mean Girls quote at ya. APPARENTLY It’s Mean Girls DAY, according to TIME. That’s a thing?! “It’s not like a regular holiday, but a cool holiday.”:

this article. Are almonds the next gluten? Well, this is crazy. this roasted rosemary delicata squash. My girl Rebecca totally agrees with me that delicata is the BEST winter squash. And gives hilarious reasons why!

currently reading French Women Don’t Get Fat. We all stereotype know the French can be pretty pretentious, especially about their food and culture. Fact. I lived in Bordeaux (swoon) in college and can attest to that. But we could all learn a few trucs (french for tricks) about the French joie de vivre and mindful eating from this book. Plus, she pokes fun at both Americans and Frenchies (the people, not the dog breed. duh).
