Nutrition Supervision
for cns candidates
Are you a current or recent Nutrition graduate student looking to fulfill your supervision hours? Looking to learn from someone who built their business from the ground-up, as an entirely virtual practice seeing 1×1 clients? Dana Monsees Nutrition offers one-on-one Supervised Practice Experience for students or recent graduates looking to fulfill their hours for the Certified Nutrition Specialist (CNS) License from the Board of Certified Nutrition Specialists.
Our Supervised Practice Experience might be a right fit for you if:
- You’re interested in learning how to expand your offerings by using bloodwork and functional testing in your practice like stool testing, hormone testing, and hair mineral analysis testing.
- You’re interested in building your business and seeing your own 1×1 clients, but want someone to help you work through the tougher cases.
- You want to learn from someone who specializes in an evidence-based, non-restrictive approach to nutrition
- You want to learn more about working with clients with disordered eating and chronic health conditions
All CNS candidates are required to complete 1,000 supervised hours as one of the requirements to achieve their national license and credential of a Certified Nutrition Specialist. You may receive up to 350+ hours while in your graduate program, but the remaining hours must be fulfilled with an accredited supervisor from the BCNS.
